Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Partio for your use of the Partio iPhone app. By downloading or using Partio, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The service

Partio lets you scan or enter a business card and builds a lead from it: it searches public web sources for the person and their company, surfaces related contacts and companies, drafts an outreach message on your device, and lets you export the result. Enrichment relies on third-party public sources and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

2. Who can use Partio

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding agreement. Partio has no user accounts; access is tied to your device and your Apple ID.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

  • Partio includes one free search. Additional searches are available as a one-time pack of 10 searches, or as an Unlimited monthly subscription.
  • A search is one lead. Re-opening or refreshing a lead you have already searched does not use another search.
  • All purchases are billed to your Apple ID through Apple. The Unlimited subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
  • Prices may vary by region and may include taxes. Payments are handled by Apple under Apple's terms, and refunds are subject to Apple's policies and your statutory rights.

4. Acceptable use

When you use Partio, you agree that you will:

  • use the information Partio surfaces lawfully, and comply with applicable data-protection, privacy and anti-spam laws when you contact the people you research;
  • not use Partio to harass anyone, or to collect or use personal data unlawfully;
  • not attempt to bypass usage limits, resell access, reverse engineer the app, or disrupt or overload our systems.

You are responsible for how you use the leads and messages Partio helps you create.

5. Accuracy and availability

Enrichment draws on public, third-party sources. We do not guarantee that results are complete, current or accurate, and you should verify important details before relying on them. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

6. Intellectual property

The Partio app, its design and its content are owned by Partio and its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app in line with these terms. Content you create with Partio remains yours.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Partio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss arising from your reliance on enrichment results or from how you contact the people you research. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your mandatory consumer rights.

8. Termination

You may stop using Partio at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service.

9. Apple and the App Store

These terms are between you and Partio, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, where applicable; otherwise Apple has no warranty obligation for the app.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continuing to use Partio after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
